33 Years In Asia

Career adventures

33 years ago, I left France with two bags and a one-way ticket to Taipei. Today, I call Asia home.

On December 12, 1992, I left France and arrived in Asia. What started as one chapter became …the book. Over three decades, I’ve worked across 8 countries in APAC—from China to Australia—and visited many more, navigating industries, teams, and cultures, through crises, booms, turnarounds, and launches. I’ve founded a family, led teams, built markets, and learned to adapt faster than I thought possible.

I’ve failed. I’ve won. I’ve learned—constantly. And I've had the privilege to witness the incredible transformation of this region, driven by its people's energy, innovation, speed and entrepreneurial spirit.

What’s stayed constant? Generosity and a spirit of optimism. The thrill of learning. I’ve been welcomed, challenged, inspired.

To all those who’ve been part of this ride —my wife, my sons, my colleagues, friends, mentors and challengers—thank you. You’ve shaped my journey.

Here’s to discovering more, and paying it forward.
