I started this week with a post on how to set yourself up for success from day one of the week. Thought it would be nice to address the other end of the week as well! So here we go:

Ask: ๐˜ž๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ด๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ถ๐˜ด ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ๐˜ฏ? ๐˜ž๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ? Pick ๐จ๐ง๐ž process change to try next week (small, testable). โ€œInspect and adapt,โ€ weekly.

Send a short update: wins, remaining risks, next commitments, and any decisions needed. Keep it transparent: trust comes from visibility.

4-๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐๐š๐ฒ (๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง).
Re-rank the top items by value. If everything is โ€œtop,โ€ nothing is. Decide what you will not do.

5-๐‚๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐›๐ข๐ ๐ ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐๐ข๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐œ๐š๐ง.
Before you log off, remove or route one blocker (approval, access, dependency, unclear ownership). Your job is to protect flow.

A quick shout-out for outcomes reinforces quality and closure, especially for knowledge work where progress can feel invisible.

Block 30โ€“60 minutes on Monday morning for planning + deep work, and avoid scheduling over it. Future-you (and your team) will move faster with a calm start.
